Mike Stemple

Michael “Mike” Walter Stemple, September 3, 1969 - October 21, 2024. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael “Mike” Walter Stemple, who left us peacefully in Trenton, Florida, on October 21, 2024, at the age of 55. Born in Tarpon Springs, Florida, Mike was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Mike is survived by his devoted wife, Krishna Stemple, who stood by him through thick and thin. He was a proud father to Marissa Stemple, Kelsey (Douglas) Cliche, Zachary (Hannah) Peck, Jarrod (Brittany) Peck, and Ryan (Brittney) Frye. He cherished his role as “Papa” to his grandkids, Benjamin, Liam, Mitchell, Kelsey, Kynlea, Autumn, Hadley, Oakley, Knox, Lily, Maxx, and Alexander, teaching them life lessons with love and humor. He is preceded in death by his father, Edward "Ed" Stemple and Earnest “Earnie” Keen, and is survived by his mother, Vivian Keen, and Cecile Stemple. He leaves behind his siblings Becky (Ross) Bussard, Jeffery (Tammy) Stemple, and Kenneth (Jennifer) Stemple, Cheryl Howell, and Lyndell (Tonya) Howell along with many cherished family members and friends. For approximately 20 years, Mike dedicated his career to the Florida Department of Corrections, where he made a positive impact on many lives. Outside of work, he found joy in hunting and fishing, relishing every moment spent in nature and with his family. His laughter and stories will be dearly missed. A service will be held at Noon on Friday, October 25, 2024, at the Rick Gooding Funerial Home Chapel, 16984 SE Hwy 19, Cross City, FL, where family and friends will gather to honor his memory. Burial will follow at Bowlegs Cemetery 6094 SW 623rd St. Rocky Creek, FL. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Mike will be remembered for his kind heart, infectious spirit, and unwavering love for his family. Rest in peace, Mike. You will always be in our hearts.
