Robert "Bobby" M Parrish

March 18, 1959 - January 25, 2022

Robert M. Parrish, 62, of Cross City, Florida, passed away on January 25, 2022, after a battle with cancer. Bobby was born in Thomasville, Georgia to the late, Bill and Delores Parrish, on March 18, 1959. He lived in Trenton, Florida, his childhood life until he met and married Debbie Long on November 21, 1980. Bobby began his trucking career at the age of 18 with Herman Sanchez. He later owned and operated his own trucking business where he hauled for many local businesses. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, father, and doting grandfather. Bobby is survived by his loving wife, Debbie; his children, Krystal Elizabeth (Matt) Parker, and John Tyler (Sarah) Parrish; his five wonderful grandchildren, Chase Ely Parker, Reece Elizabeth Parker, Adaline Rose Parker, John Luke Parrish, and Lilly Mae Parrish; his sister Carol (Duke) Lang; his brothers Johnny Parrish, Tommy (Mary) Parrish, Pat (Anita) Parrish, and many wonderful nieces and nephews. Bobby is preceded in death by his parents Bill and Delores Parrish. Funeral Services for Bobby will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, January 28, 2022 at the Rick Gooding Funeral Home Cross City Chapel. Burial will follow at Cross City Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
