Hogan S. Green Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Hogan Shelby Green, 100, of Old Town, Florida passed away July 26, 2022. Mr. Green was born September 9, 1921 to the late Shelby and Effie Green in Bernie, Missouri, but had lived in the Old Town area for 45 years after moving here from Michigan. He was a World War II Veteran of the United States Army, retired from General Motors in Flint, MI, and was a member of McCrabb Baptist Church. Mr. Green is survived by his wife of 66 years Elizabeth “Betty” Beagle Green, his son Grant Sege (Lynnell), 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and other extended family members. He was preceded in death by his daughter Susan Getz and his sister Veronica Brown. Funeral services for Mr. Green will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, July 30, 2022 at the McCrabb Baptist Church in Old Town, FL, with Rev. Danny Rogers and Rev. David Downing officiating. Interment will follow at the McCrabb Baptist Church Cemetery in Old Town, FL. The family will receive friends at the Church one hour prior to the service.
