Edward Myers Turner Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Edward Myers Turner of Old Town, Florida, passed away July 27, 2022. He was born in Ft. Myers, Florida on September 1, 1950. He grew up in Naples, Florida as part of the pioneer Turner Family. Edward is preceded in death by his grandfather, Pappy Turner; father, Ralph Turner; mother, Eleanor Turner Whidden; and his brother, Morris Garrell. Edward's first love was his family. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Judy Turner; sons Steven Edward Turner (Tricia) and Jason Turner (Michelle); stepdaughter Shelly Young (Geminee); stepson David Bullock, Jr. (Kathy); grandchildren Katie Albach (Thomas), Steven Edward Turner, Jr. (Ashlee), Ashlynn, McKenzie, Nicholas, Marisa, Tristenne and Lane (Hailee); great grandchildren, Chloe, Sierra, Rayne, Ryder, Donna, and Chase. Edward is also survived by his brother, Ralphie Turner; sisters Jeannie (Novia) Sharkey and Jeanette Ross; uncle, Duke Turner and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Edward had a love for racing, his favorite being Swamp Buggies. He raced for 50 years and was inducted into Swamp Buggy Hall of Fame. He loved to fish and loved spending time with family and friends. He was proud of his Turner Family Heritage. There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at his son, Steven's residence in Old Town, Florida. Family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Haven Hospice of Chiefland, Florida.
