DAVID WILLIAM WILLOUGHBY, SR. 56, of Old Town passed away August 2, 2017. David was born April 25, 1961 to the late Robert and Hortense Willoughby in Green Cove Springs, Florida, but had lived in the Old Town area for over 15 years after moving from St. Petersburg, Florida. He was a member of the Dixie County Volunteer Fire Department for over 15 years, a Mason in the St. Petersburg, Florida area, and member of the Faith in the Word Assembly Church in Old Town, Florida. In his spare time David enjoyed fishing, hunting, and mudding, but most of all spending quality time with all his grandchildren. David Willoughby, Sr. is survived by his wife of 38 years Dolores Sonia Willoughby, his sons David William Willoughby, Jr. and Walter Charles Willoughby, Sr., his daughters Jamie Lynn Willoughby, Kimberly Le’Anna Willoughby, and Jill Nolan, a sister Thelma Sue Chanthaboury, nine grandchildren, a very close friend Lynette Wheeler Ellison and her sons Dustin Wheeler and Joel Eady, a friend Christie Mathis, and other extended family members. The family will hold a memorial service in honor of David Willoughby, Sr. 1:00 PM Saturday, August 19, 2017 at the Faith in the Word Assembly Church in Old Town, Florida.
