Arthur Douglas Maruna, 89, of Chiefland, Florida passed away January 1, 2021. Mr. Maruna was born to the late Williard and Alice Maruna September 21, 1931 in Sacramento, California, but had lived in the Chiefland area since 2000. He was a member of Turning Point Ministry and was a Veteran of the United States Navy. In his spare time, Mr. Maruna enjoyed square dancing and line dancing. Mr. Maruna is survived by his grandsons Timothy Maruna and Joshua Maruna, and other extended family members. A memorial service in honor of Mr. Maruna will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, January 16,2021 at the Turning Point Ministry in Trenton, Florida, with Rev. Kent Zimmermann officiating. Arrangements have been placed under the care of the Rick Gooding Funeral Home Chiefland Chapel, with locations in Cross City 352-498-5400 and Chiefland 352-493-0050.
