Amy M. Moore

July 15, 1980 - January 15, 2018

Amy Marie Moore, 37, of Old Town FL went to be with her lord surrounded by her loved ones on January 15, 2018. She born July 15, 1980 in Washington, DC at Walter Reed Medical Center. Amy was a graduate of Terry Parker High School in Jacksonville, FL. She was an amazing person who loved God, her Family and her multiple friends. She was an active member of several organizations throughout her life which most recently included the American Veteran Women’s Auxiliary, Chapter 422 and ECW of St. Albans Episcopal Church. An avid volunteer for a worthy cause, she worked at her church’s local food pantry on a regular basis and functioned as the key spouse for the 42nd Contracting Squadron, assisting the spouses of other deployed members for many years. She would always be the first to volunteer her time, her resources and her family whenever called upon. As a US Navy brat, she was unfazed by the many moves required when she became a US Airforce spouse. These adventures took her to several exotic locations such as…Cheyanne, WY; Dayton, OH; Tampa, FL; Prattville, AL and her final home in Old Town, FL. Amy is preceded in death by her son Morgan Alexander Moore, her Grandfather Raymond Oliver Golden Sr., Grandparents Anthony and Anna Morganelli and her Father in law Timothy Patrick Moore. She leaves behind her husband of 19 years David Christopher Moore and son Connor Patrick Moore. Her Parents Raymond Oliver (Dora) Golden Jr, Joanne Marie Morganelli (P.J. Shields), Lorraine Ricciardi Golden and Barbara Smiles Moore. Her siblings Sarah Beth (Matthew) Daliberti, Heather Nichole Shields, Mary Virginia (Paul) Moriarty, Deborah Lynn (Matthew) Rothar, Phillip Jason Shields, Heather Ann (Joshua) Selvey, Raymond Oliver Golden III. Nieces and Nephews – Chase, Jonathan, Joshua, Emily, Alexis, Matthew, Caitlyn, Elizabeth, Christian, Madison, Dylan, Julianna & Jedidiah and her grandmother Lida Gale Golden. Funeral services for Amy will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, January 20, 2018 at St. Albans Episcopal Church in Cheifland, FL 7550 NW 149th Place Chiefland, FL 32636. The family will receive friends at the Church one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers Amy has asked for donations to be sent to St. Albans ministries for the feeding of the poor or camp for youths. Arrangements have been placed under the care of Rick Gooding Funeral Home, Chiefland 352-493-0050, and Cross City 352-498-5400. Please sign the online guest book at rickgoodingfuneralhomes.com
